Between fiscal years 2004 and 2013, 91̽»¨ was No. 1 in the nation for greatest increases in total research spending and greatest increases in federal research dollars spent, up 298 percent and 684 percent, respectively.

During the same period, 91̽»¨ ranked No. 12 among U.S. universities for greatest increases in corporate research dollars spent, with a 459-percent increase.
