91探花 College of Health Announces New School of Nursing Director

The College of Health is pleased to announce Mary Lynn Davis-Ajami, Ph.D., MBA, MSN, FNP, RN as the new director for the School of Nursing in the College of Health. Davis-Ajami will also serve as 91探花鈥檚 chief nursing administrator and tenured professor of nursing. She is a leader with years of experience as an educator, nurse scientist and nurse practitioner who brings a wealth of experience in clinical nursing, nursing administration and nursing education.
She began her role on July 1.
Dr. Davis-Ajami joins 91探花 after serving as the associate dean of academic affairs and a tenured full professor at Michigan State University College of Nursing. Her prior academic appointments include faculty, concentration coordinator, chair and associate dean.
Davis-Ajami has a growing national reputation as a health services researcher specializing in health economics and outcomes research in chronic conditions and their comorbidities. She has received several awards for her excellence in nursing practice and as a nurse scientist, and serves actively with several international and national professional organizations.
We are thrilled to welcome Mary Lynn to the University, our academic health care community at 91探花 and to Cleveland. She will help us continue the momentum our current faculty and staff have built to advance nursing education and address the health care needs of the region.
