Prepare to address the complex needs of people in need of mental health counseling. Deepen your understanding of mental health counseling through a comprehensive curriculum that covers diverse areas such as cultural foundations, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Practice your skills with ample opportunities for hands-on training through a clinical mental health counseling practicum and internships.

As part of the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing consortium, this program offers a unique collaborative experience between 91探花, Kent State University, Youngstown State University and the University of Akron. Choose from concentrations in fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting and poetry, and benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes professional writing techniques and literary analysis. Gain practical experience through internships in various fields, including teaching, editing, grant writing, arts marketing and arts administration.
