Practice your skills with ample opportunities for hands-on training through a clinical mental health counseling practicum and internships.

Prepare to meet the diverse needs of children aged 0-6, including those with disabilities and developmental delays, and families facing social and emotional challenges. Deliver positive interventions or provide supervision within supportive settings. The certificate consists of 16 credit hours.

Support students in educational settings by enhancing your skills through a curriculum focused on research, cultural foundations, ethics, individual and group counseling, diagnosis and career development. Apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios through clinical and field-based experiences, including a school counseling practicum and internship.

As part of the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing consortium, this program offers a unique collaborative experience between 91̽»¨, Kent State University, Youngstown State University and the University of Akron. Choose from concentrations in fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting and poetry, and benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes professional writing techniques and literary analysis. Gain practical experience through internships in various fields, including teaching, editing, grant writing, arts marketing and arts administration.
